Taishan Collection is a curated gallery of display reproductions and craftsmanship pieces. Founded with a passion for preserving traditional metalworking craft and the art of historical artefact reproduction.

Our Mission

We believe that every piece in our collection tells a story. From historical replicas of significant period pieces to modern craftsmanship that honors ancient techniques, each item in our gallery is selected for its quality, accuracy, and cultural significance.

Craftsmanship Standards

Each piece is inspected and packed by hand before dispatch. Our pieces are produced with time-honoured metalworking and finishing techniques, and are intended for display and collection.

Our Commitment

Our collection is intended for display, historical study and responsible collection. Every order is checked before it is packed, and we are happy to answer questions about any piece before or after you buy.

Third-party services and overseas processing

We keep the data we collect to a minimum. To run this store we rely on two established providers:

• Stripe — processes card payments. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own secure form and are never stored on our servers. Stripe is a global provider; payment data may be processed outside Australia (including the United States).
• Cloudflare — hosts this website and our database. Technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring link) may be processed on servers located outside Australia, including the United States.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How long we keep your information

Order records (name, email, phone, delivery address, items and amounts) are kept for up to 7 years for accounting, warranty and tax purposes. Website analytics are stored in aggregate and contain no name or contact details. You may ask us to delete your details at any time, except where we are required to keep them by law.

Product Nature & Intended Use

Taishan Collection is a gallery of decorative reproductions, historical-style artefacts, fantasy props and collector pieces. Every item we sell is a modern reproduction produced for display, study and collection.

• Crafted collectibles, not antiques: our pieces are not genuine, original, vintage or period artefacts, and must not be represented or resold as such.
• Made for display and collection: each piece is produced as a decorative object for display, study and collecting.
• Not for functional use: no item is sold for use against any person, for hunting, or for any unlawful purpose.
• Outdoor tools & working edges: where a piece has a working edge (for example outdoor-utility items and full-tang pieces), it is supplied as a collector/utility item and must be handled, stored and used lawfully and responsibly.
• Collectors must be 18+: buyers confirm they are 18 or over and that possession, storage and display of the item complies with all laws applicable at their delivery address.

Intellectual Property & Fan-Made Replicas

All film, television, video game, book and character titles, names and imagery referenced on this website are the property of their respective owners. Such references are used for identification and descriptive purposes only and do not imply any association with, or endorsement by, the relevant rights holder.

Our replica pieces are independently produced fan-made or third-party reproductions. Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, they are not licensed, sponsored, endorsed by, or affiliated with any film studio, publisher, game company or other rights holder. All items are supplied as decorative display collectibles and are not intended for functional use.

We are not an authorised dealer for any third-party brand or franchise unless expressly stated. If you are a rights holder and believe that any listing on this site infringes your rights, please contact us at support@taishancollection.com.au and we will respond promptly and remove the relevant listing where appropriate.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Cost

Free shipping Australia-wide on all orders — no minimum order value. Shipping charges are included in the listed product prices.

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped, with tracking information where tracking is available.

Shipping Destinations

We ship within Australia only. We deliver to all Australian states and territories (metro and regional). We do not currently ship to international destinations.

Packaging

Each piece is carefully packaged in protective materials to ensure safe delivery. We use reinforced boxes, foam inserts, and moisture barriers to protect your collection item during transit.

Customs & Duties

Orders with a delivery address outside Australia cannot be accepted. If you are outside Australia and would like to purchase, please contact us first to discuss whether delivery can be arranged.

Returns & Exchanges

Return Window

We offer a 7-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be in their original condition and packaging.

Eligibility

• Item has not been used or handled beyond inspection
• Original packaging and protective materials are intact
• Return request is made within 7 days of delivery
• Photo evidence of the item condition is provided

Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact our support team. We will provide a return authorization and shipping instructions. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Refunds

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned item. The refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state/provincial, and national laws regarding the possession and display of collectible items. Taishan Collection does not sell items intended for illegal use.

Pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). We reserve the right to modify prices at any time.

Limitation of Liability

Taishan Collection shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or the products purchased through it.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details. We also store your cart and browsing preferences in your browser's localStorage.
